About the Event

St. Patrick's Choral Society is delighted to present "Me and My Girl" in 2011, ostensibly "THE HAPPIEST SHOW IN TOWN".

Me and My Girl is bursting with vintage Noel Gay songs including The Lambeth Walk, Leaning on a Lamppost, The Sun Has Got His Hat On and, of course, Me and My Girl.

Enjoy again the story of Bill Snibson, a cockney boy from Lambeth, who discovers he’s in line to become the next Earl of Hareford. To inherit the title and the family fortune, Bill must first win the approval of his astonished family. And when society gold-digger Jacqueline sets her sights on him, Sally, Bill’s girlfriend from the East End, finds herself out in the cold. Can Bill see through jacqueline’s scheme, win back Sally and inherit what is rightfully his?

Bring your family to this joyful show and you’ll all leave the theatre doing the Lambeth Walk, Oi!
