About the Event

Fast, funky and funny, Sweet Charity follows the adventures of Charity Hope Valentine, a dance hall hostess at the "Fandango Ballroom" in New York City. Charity struggles to find a man, any man, who can make her happy. The first throws her in a lake. The second locks her in a closet. But the third, Oscar, is something else.
When the two of them get trapped in an elevator together, it’s clearly the start of something new. But will it be something different?
Love is what it’s all about!
But will Charity live happily ever after?
Sweet Charity is one of the classic Broadway musicals with a bright, brassy score by Cy Coleman and including such hit songs as ‘Big Spender’, ‘If My Friends Could See Me Now’ and ‘The Rhythm of Life’ and a wise-cracking script by Neil Simon, most famous for ‘The Odd Couple’
