RED ROSES AND PETROL revolves around Enda Doyle, a university librarian, poet and rascal who is the flawed patriarch of a dysfunctional family struggling to come to terms with his death and with one another. As his family gathers in Dublin for his wake, the reunion reveals that the Doyle household has attics cluttered with animosity, cellars crammed with resentment and closets filled with some unusual skeletons. The consequences are both disturbing and comic.
