About the Event

This delightful musical for all the family tells the story of 4 sisters living at the turn of the century, in a stylish Edwardian home in the suburbs of St Louis, 1903. Witness the effects a proposed move to New York has on the whole family, when papa Alonso Smith receives a much desired job promotion. If you have enjoyed past Cecilian productions such as Oklahoma, The Wonderful World of Disney, A Little Princess, My Fair Lady, South Pacific and most recently the AIM’S award winning musical Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, then you will love the thrill of this great musical with delightful, memorable and uplifting tunes such as ‘The Trolley Song’ (Clang, Clang, Clang), ‘A Raving Beauty’, ‘The Banjo Song’, ‘Skip To My Lou My Darlin’, and ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’.
The production is Directed and Produced by Rosalind Kearns O’Dowd, Musical Director is Aiden Faughey, Choreographer is Denise Donohoe, Stage Manager is Gerry Mc Cann, Lighting Engineer is Denis Twomey and Dee Rogers is Sound Engineer.
