Our Diamond Jubliee Production of

"THE SOUND OF MUSIC"

Wednesday 18th January - Saturday 4th February 2012

in the Riverside Theatre, Coleraine

Ballywillan Drama Group has been given permission to stage the very first production of The Sound of Music in the UK and Ireland since 2006, when Andrew Lloyd Webber's famous production launched Connie Fisher to fame and fortune.

During the five years The Sound of Music was in London's West End and the subsequent UK and World tours, Musical Theatre Groups could only look on with envy as the show filled theatres night after night.

Now the Wait is over - in an extravagant new production to celebrate sixty years in show-business, the Ballywillan Drama Group is proud to be bringing this wonderful musical to Northern Ireland.

Having entertained audiences since 1952, Ballywillan Drama Group is celebrating its Diamond Jubliee with a brand new version of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical; The Sound of Music. The cream of the area's musical theatre talent will entertain audiences in this special anniversary show.

The famous family musical with the unique Ballywillan touch will please children and adults alike. Featuring another signature Ballywillan stage set and wonderful costumes designed by one of the UK's leading theatre costumiers, The Sound of Music is now booking!
