JOB: Seeking Mentor for Schools Programme 2025/26

AIMS are seeking applications for our Mentor for the Schools Musical Theatre Programme for the 2025/2026 season. The role of the Mentor is to review shows which are taking place in schools around the country and provide reviews of each show they see across the season.

The role of the mentor is also to provide support and constructive feedback to students and schools. At the end of the season, you will need to make nominations for the Schools Musical Awards and to select the winners.

A good knowledge of the English language is important and all to being a constructive manner is vital. A thorough knowledge of musical theatre scene in Ireland is essential and a good knowledge of stage craft is important. Membership of a recognised body will be a distinct advantage.

A modest package covering fees/ expenses will be offered to the person appointed. Letters of application- outlining career/ experience to date, musical theatre background etc and a detailed CV should be sent to the National Secretary no later than Friday 20th of June 2025.
