Clarification around rehearsals etc during current (December) restrictions

From arts unit in the Taoiseach‘s Department regarding queries around rehearsals after 8pm in evening.

When you are putting on a production or show, you are seen as a workplace and fall under the Work Safely Protocol guidance which can be found at; https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/22829a-return-to-work-safely-protocol/.

The new measures announced last Friday state that "no indoor events, including entertainment, cultural, community and sporting events, will take place after 8pm".

With this in mind, you would have to decide if rehearsals should take place after 8pm or if they could at all be held earlier in the day.
