Oyster Lane Theatre Group is proud to present 'The Prince of Egypt' at the National Opera House this November 2026, marking the first time this spectacular musical will be staged in the south east of Ireland.

Fresh off the back of our sell-out, All-Ireland Best Overall Show runner-up production of 'A Christmas Carol the Musical' in 2024 and following last year’s beloved classic 'The Wizard of Oz', OLTG continues its tradition of bringing high-quality, memorable theatre to audiences in Wexford and beyond.

Based on the DreamWorks animated film, 'The Prince of Egypt' is a powerful and visually stunning production that tells the epic story of Moses, from his royal upbringing to his destiny to lead his people to freedom. Featuring an unforgettable score, audiences can look forward to iconic songs such as 'Deliver Us', 'Footprints in the Sand' and the Oscar-winning 'When You Believe', made famous by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. This production offers something truly special for audiences of all ages. A moving theatrical experience filled with breathtaking music and powerful storytelling

This exciting production is brought to life by Imelda McDonagh , who returns as Director, following the success of our Best Overall Show award-winning production of 'Michael Collins – a Musical Drama' in 2018. Musical Director Patrick Clancy, also AIMS-nominated for his work on OLTG's productions of 'All 4 One' and 'A Christmas Carol the Musical'. As well as Choreographer Jonny Smith, known for his work on the AIMS 60th Anniversary Concert.
