We are very proud to announce that our 2017 production will be the south east premiere of the classic musical hit ‘SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN’, which will take place in St. Michael’s Theatre, New Ross in March 2017.

This will be our 49th consecutive production and we are delighted that we are able to bring this classic musical to the stage in New Ross and the south east for the very first time.

Named the “Greatest Movie Musical of All Time”, Singin’ in the Rain the musical is adapted from the 1952 movie starring Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor and Debbie Reynolds. Set in Hollywood in the waning days of the silent screen era, tells the tale of actor Don Lockwood, his sidekick Cosmo Brown and aspiring actress Kathy Selden. Each unforgettable scene, song, and dance is accounted for, including the show-stopping title number, complete with an onstage rainstorm! Hilarious situations, snappy dialogue, and a hit-parade score of Hollywood standards make Singin' In The Rain the perfect entertainment for all ages and will have the audience singing and dancing as they leave the theatre.
