After a two year postponement due to covid restrictions Ballywillan Drama Group are delighted to finally bring this new musical to Northern Ireland.

Inspired by true events KINKY BOOTS tells the story of Charlie Price, who, having inherited the almost bankrupt Northampton shoe factory from his father, forms an unlikely partnership with cabaret performer and drag queen, Lola, in order to produce a line of high-heeled boots to save the business.

This new musical has music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper and book by Harvey Fierstein. A new set has been especially designed for the Riverside Theatre and the boots have been designed and made by the costumier of the original London production!
