When aspiring club singer Deloris gets in trouble with the mob, she goes into hiding, as a nun!
Under the guise of Sister Mary Clarence, Deloris clashes with the strict Mother Superior but ultimately finds her place among the sisters. As Deloris adapts to convent life, she finds her calling when she takes over the struggling convent choir.
However, danger looms as Deloris's true identity is discovered by the mobsters and her newfound sanctuary and the safety of her fellow sisters are threatened.
Will the cops be able to protect Deloris and the sisters of the Queen of Angels. Or will the mob catch Deloris and ruin the biggest performance of the Sisters’ lives?
