About the Event

Spamalot features a shameless parade of puns, a posse of knights in tights (also shameless ), a bevy of beautiful showgirls, a 'dazzling diva', hilarious dance numbers, not to mention cows, killer rabbits some really terrible fake French accents and the somewhat odd Knights
who say "ni". All are just part of the adventures and dangers awaiting King Arthur and his knights of the very very very round table in their quest for the Holy Grail.

Lovingly ripped off from the motion picture, MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL, - SPAMALOT is the fresh Broadway hit and irreverent parody of the Arthurian legend. It was nominated for 14 Tony Awards, winning three, including Best New Musical for 2005.
Leading the quest is King Arthur (Seán Hosty) who with his trusty servant Patsy (Mervyn Fahy), rounds up his gallant knights, Sir Lancelot (Fergal D’Arcy Today FM), the Homicidally Brave, Sir Robin (Nicky Lawless), the dashing Sir Galahad (Neil Conway) who is Not-Quite-So-Brave-as-Sir-Lancelot, and the Strangely Flatulent Sir Bedevere (Marc O’Connor) and their strange and funny encounters with an assortment of other characters along the way - The Lady of The Lake (Katie Creaven), The French Taunter (Michael Cooney), Historian (Karl O’Doherty), Not Dead Fred (John Herne), The Voice of God (Eric Idle), Prince Herbert’s Father (Mike Flaherty), Guarding Prince Herbert (Paul Hughes) and many more….
