About the Event

Consider yourself invited to a musical spectacular as the Londonderry Musical Society presents Oliver!, one of the best loved family musicals of all time.

Guaranteed to be a treat for all ages, the production will bring to life Lionel Bart’s masterpiece on the stage of the Millennium Forum. Based on Charles Dickens’ classic novel, this Tony-award winning show captivates children and adults alike with its wonderful characters, engaging storyline and memorable songs.

Oliver Twist, whose only crime is to ask for more, escapes his bleak workhouse existence and finds himself in the midst of danger and adventure in the shady alleys of Victorian London. Here he meets a colourful cast of unforgettable characters from master-thief Fagin and his streetwise sidekick, the Artful Dodger, to loveable Nancy and evil villain Bill Sykes.

The show features some of the best-loved musical classics of all time including Food, Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, I’d Do Anything and Oom-Pah-Pah.

The Society is renowned for showcasing the best talent the North West has to offer and this year will be no exception, with the cast being joined by budding young local stars. The show will be brought to life by David Keown as Director and Venessa Chapman as Choreographer, joined this year by Maurice Kelly as Musical Director.

Tickets can be booked online by visitng www.millenniumforum.co.uk or alternatively call the Millennium Forum Theatre and Conference Centre on (028) 71264455.
