About the Event
To mark the tenth anniversary of the death of John B Keane, the Glencullen Musical & Dramatic Society are staging The Field, which is perhaps Keane’s best known play, first performed in 1965, and based on a true story of murder. Through this shadowy but funny play, Keane exposes the darkside of loving the land too much in a small rural community in the South West of Ireland.
