About the Event
Written by Tony award-winner, Michael Frayn, this peerless backstage farce has moments when everyone – onstage and in the audience -- seems to be riding the same runaway roller-coaster.
Performed by the Glencullen Musical and Dramatic Society, whose last sell-out show in the Mill Theatre won two national awards for best actor and best supporting actor, Noises Off promises to be a perfect pre-Christmas treat. We follow the attempts of the show’s ‘on-stage director’ who is desperately trying to get his production together, despite the best efforts of the cast and crew. Romances, arguments and a fancy for sardines and whisky keep the action on-stage almost as frantic as what is happening behind the set.... "the funniest play written in my lifetime" (Frank Rich, New York Times)
