The '08/'09 AIMS Adjudication season has just finished. This year we had 45 shows in the Gilbert section and 40 in the Sullivan section. This season saw a return to some of the regular favourites, with 7 productions of "Oliver!", 6 productions of "Fiddler On The Roof", 5 productions of "Calamity Jane" and 4 productions of "Guys 'N' Dolls".

26 shows took to the stage before the New Year, with the remaining 59 shows running in 2009. The first show of the season was "Oliver!", performed by Newry Musical & Orchestral Society, which opened on 12th May 2008. The last show of the season was "Jane Eyre - A Musical Drama", performed by St. Mary's Musical Society, Navan, which closed on 17th May 2009.
